I'm awake...

I let a bad dream wake me up.

There's something I've been concerned about for a few weeks now. That's what the bad dream was about.

I should just go back to bed until the alarm goes off in two hours.

Yeah, riiiiight....

Hope all the dads out there had a great Father's Day.

Father's Day is one of the two days that I really miss my dad. The other one is next month, July 18... that was my dad's birthday.

That's a month from today.

I think I'll go back to bed now.

Three down, one to go

Had the two finals I've been dreading all weekend this morning.

The English Comp project from hell is behind me now. I think I did a pretty good job with the parts I was responsible for. I wasn't the weak link (that's what I was afraid of the most). The only problem was that part of my presentation was on Power Point, and my version is newer than the one on the laptop I was provided, so it didn't get used... so I wrote the information on the chalkboard. It wasn't perfect, but it had to do.

The editing final took me all of about half an hour, and I actually had a fighting chance of passing it with a decent grade (i.e. I knew the answers).

US History is Wednesday, then I'm done. Summer session starts June 4th, so I have a couple of weeks off before going back to school. I don't know about the cramming 16 weeks of classes into half that time (classes are every day but Fridays), but it probably won't be that bad.

More to come on that.

I've already ordered my books for Summer, and I should get them the week of May 28th.

So now, I think I will go to sleep for a while.

Live from Allergy Central...

It's me! Suffering from either a really wicked cold, or the tree pollen has really gotten to me this year. There are a lot of trees on campus...

In short, I feel as though I have been hit by a semi (anyone get that tag number?).

I made it to Friday, and short of any homework, I may just sleep all weekend. I feel just bleh... then again, there is feed a cold, starve a fever...

Or is that the other way round?

Hopefully next week, I'll feel better. I have a midterm in US History to take and I can't be all fuzzy headed.

I'm blue (as in it's friggin cold out there!)

I stayed up way too late last night reading a book not related to school.

I am so tired now, but I have a study session at 1pm for two hours, so I can't really go home and catch a quick catnap.

I haven't slept very well since I started school, and it's catching up with me. I go to bed at a decent hour, but my mind is reeling with so much information, so many thoughts, so many stupid little worries. I actually got up before my alarm went off, and still couldn't believe it was time to get started for the day.

And this weather is so crazy, it's maddening. Tomorrow it's calling for snow again. Great. That's all I need.

At least I won't be walking in the snow to school. Hope Babydoll behaves and starts right up like this morning. It's good to have my own wheels again. But she needs a lot of TLC right now.

And, yikes! My birthday is a week and a half away!

1:16am and all is well

Not a creature is stirring, though Pinky's downstairs snoring her head off.

I should be in bed snoring my head off (not that I snore... much). I have an interview at 11am!

At least the left rear tire isn't flat anymore. I think I can get to where I'm going tomorrow without a major catastrophe (famous last words...).

Look out I-35!
