He must be bored... it's the only reason he calls me anymore

Of course, Saon would never admit that in a million years.

So far this evening, he's called me twice. He's supposed to call again before I head off to bed, but I'll believe it when the phone rings and a 504 area code pops up on caller ID.

I'm so tired of this. If he's going to call me, he should plan on calling me when he's not working.

I think I'll head off to bed now. Can't wait for him.

Besides, I'm not going to let him screw me over again. Maybe he doesn't know he's doing it, but that's hard to believe.

I've got this great future. I don't need a ghost from the past coming in and screwing it up.
