Boy, do I feel like a dumbass...

There was a post on Habitatgirl's blog about the Indiana congressman who wanted to change the name of Interstate 69 because he'd been convinced by religious folk that it was the "moral" thing to do.

It's shown up on Snopes.com. It's a hoax, folks.

I so totally fell for it when I read it on Habitatgirl's blog, because it sounds like something someone like a Pat Robertson or a Jerry Falwell would try and convince a legislator to do. After all, Pat Roberston suppsedly prayed to keep hurricanes out of Virginia Beach, where his media conglomerate is located (and so huge it has its own freakin' zip code!).

So, who knows what's real and what's not anymore? That's what snopes.com is for...LOL
