Guess what hit Daniel (hint: not a car)? Guess who finally called?

Daniel came over and the first thing he asks is, "Did Tori tell you what happened?"

Well, what happened was this: Daniel was driving to work at the grocery store yesterday morning when something or someone hit him on the passengers side door. He slammed on the brakes and spun around, finally coming to a stop a few hundred yards up the road (no traffic, thank goodness). He sees this buck staggering off on the side of the road, and it dawns on Daniel that the buck is what hit him!

So he goes on to work, and tells his manager that a deer hit him on the way to work. Daniel said his manager was pretty cool about the whole thing.

Now there is a basketball sized dent on the passenger side door, up by the handle, and the door cannot be opened from the outside. The buck also took off the rear view mirror on that side as well. Daniel says that Dean's reaction to the altercation was, "well, damn!" (Daniel drives the car and maintains the insurance, but Dean owns it).

Saon called this morning (after nearly two months!). He got his job back at Belle Chasse, working 12 noon to 12 midnight. He's rooming with a woman who wants a relationship with him, and he tells me that he doesn't want one with her. He's trying to save his money so he can move out. Apparently, this is the woman he told me about before he left Hutch who won't take no for an answer about them getting together. He's told her (so he says) that he has someone (me) he wants to have a relationship with, but she's not taking the hint. Was she the only person he could stay with? He told me that he'll call again on one of his days off this weekend.

We'll see...
