Collective Soul is going to be on the Tonight Show. I've loved this band since the early 90's when they were first coming up in the ranks. This is the first time I'll see them with the guy who replaced Ross Childress. What is Ross up to these days? I'm still waiting for the inevitable solo CD. I think that's why he left CS to begin with. At least, that's what I read that the band said.

Their new CD is called Youth. How appropriate for a band whose members are in their late 30's and early 40's (i.e. about my age).

I can't believe it... there was school today. I thought this was a Federal holiday. The city offices were closed, and there was no mail service, but the public schools and colleges were in session. Go figure.
