A couple of songs whose lyrics piqued my interest lately

Make a Move by Lostprophets and Open Your Eyes by Alter Bridge (lyrics below, all copyrights apply).

Yeah, I know what people are saying about Alter Bridge, that they're just Creed with another singer, but Open Your Eyes is a good song. And Lostprophets I have heard of, but wasn't really paying attention until this song came along....something about hearing it at 8 in the morning while taking Jeff to school (his bike's out of commission until his new tires come in the mail. They must be some special tires!).

And Scott has informed me that he's been listening to Slipknot and Korn at his friend's house...and I'll probably have to get those CD's for him because I doubt very seriously that Tori and Dean will...

(Scott? Slipknot? Lemme see if I can get my head around that concept...yup, my baby's growing up and listening to the same stuff I listen to...)
